So most people generally do eat fewer calories than usual while using them.

It’s complicated, and it can vary from person to person. But broadly speaking, a BMI (body mass index) anywhere outside of the ‘healthy’ range (both above and below) makes you more likely to suffer from secondary conditions and complications, and this risk increases the further outside of that healthy range that you fall. So it can go both ways, but the associated conditions with either vary. With an underweight BMI, you’re at risk of complications like anorexia and malnutrition, and with an overweight BMI you have an elevated risk of conditions like type 2 diabetes and heart disease.
Weight is just one component of a broader health picture, and you can’t completely say whether you’re healthy or not just by purely looking at the number on the scale. People’s bodies can range greatly, and weight can be influenced by a few factors, such as your biological sex and your height.
When trying to determine whether you’re a healthy weight, doctors will often use BMI (body mass index) as a reference. BMI can be imperfect in some cases, because it doesn’t account for factors such as having higher-than-normal muscle mass. But for most people, it can provide a reasonably good indication of whether your weight is about right or whether you’re at risk of developing weight-related health complications.
It’s possible, but not recommended. The best way to lose weight is in a healthy and sustainable way, by eating a well-rounded diet filled with as many whole foods as possible combined with plenty of exercise. [2]
The problem with rapid weight loss is that it’s unsustainable and potentially dangerous. By starving your body of the essential energy it needs, you’ll put yourself at greater risk of serious side effects like malnutrition, gallstones, dehydration and electrolyte imbalances.[3] And on top of that you’ll probably feel pretty miserable throughout, with headaches, irritability, fatigue and muscle loss all common consequences of crash diets.

Terrible, won't use again or recommend. Used because I couldn't get my regular medication on the NHS due to stock shortages, but Treated advertised that they had some in stock. It was an urgent situation, as I had ran out and was going on holiday, so needed the prescription issuing and the meds sending out promptly. Neither happened, the meds did arrive in time, but along with it a rude and completely unhelpful message from a customer service representative. Overall the worry, stress and constant pestering for a response was not worth it, and I only persevered because the situation was urgent.

It definately works. I started on Wegovy in November 2024. Weighing 18st 7lb. Had a few side effects mostly constipation which I managed with herbal laxatives. I did lose around 2st with it. Then in March I changed to Mounjaro which suits me better. Hardly any side effects, just mild stomach pains which tell me I've eaten too much. I have lost a total of 6st 7lb and would recommend Mounjaro to help anyone who struggles to lose weight.

I uploaded pictures of my condition and I felt that these had been looked at. I was offered 2 choices of appropriate treatment from which I selected one. My only comment would be that I had to look up advice about my chosen prescription online myself. I think the service could be improved if I were given some general advice along with the medication, or directed to a website which explained how best to manage the medication.

Well I received Mourjano and third injection didn't work as pen wouldn't prime or move, so had to wait for a replacement which took several days. Caused me to put back on the weight lost and starting again.Hopefully, this pen will work without problems and I will loose weight again but I do feel I lost money (and time) due to a faulty pen.I'm a retired nurse so I do know how to use the pen correctly.
