Chia yoghurt pot
Add your favourite toppings & flavourings to this nutrient-rich, batch-prep friendly yoghurt pot
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 4 tablespoons yoghurt (plain, Greek or plant yoghurt of your choosing)
- 2 tablespoons milk (any plant milk or semi-skimmed milk)
- ½ teaspoon vanilla essence
- Any fresh or frozen fruit of your choosing, for example a portion of berries or a banana
- Coconut flakes, cinnamon, flax or hemp seeds for sprinkles (optional)
- Honey or maple syrup (optional)
A nutrient-packed pot of yoghurt and chia seeds that you can customise to your liking with your favourite toppings and flavourings. Chia seeds are high in fibre, protein, antioxidants and omega-3 fatty acids – while yoghurt contains a wide range of vitamins and minerals, meaning these little pots pack a nutritional punch.
They’re also really easy to prep in batches, so you always have a healthy snack on-hand – even on busy mornings.
Instructions:
- Mix chia seeds, yoghurt, milk and vanilla in a bowl and set in the fridge, ideally overnight or at least 2 hours.
- In the morning, serve with fresh fruit and sprinkle any toppings you like on top
