Reps
Definition:
A ‘rep,’ short for repetition, refers to a single complete motion in weight training. One bicep curl or full push up, for example, is considered one rep.
Typically, higher reps (12-15+) of smaller weights help with muscular endurance and be beneficial for building muscle definition. Whereas lower reps (1-6) are ideal for building strength and building your one-rep max (the heaviest weight you can lift once). [1]
