Probiotics

Definition:

Probiotics are live bacteria and yeasts that are good for your digestive system. We usually think of bacteria as disease-causing germs, but your body is full of bacteria — good and bad. Probiotics are the good kind, because they help keep your gut healthy.

You can find probiotics in supplements and fermented foods like yoghurt, kefir, sauerkraut, tempeh and kimchi.
