GLP-1
Definition:
GLP-1 stands for Glucagon-like peptide-1. It’s a naturally occurring hormone that’s made in your gut. GLP-1 helps to regulate blood sugar levels by stimulating your pancreas to release insulin and slowing down the absorption of glucose (sugar) in your intestine. [1]
